FORGIVENESS
So many times as a teenager I would hear my parents tell me to have faith. I did in the beginning of being saved at age 11. I was faithful but then when I got to be 16 and older, I was of the world. At the age of 36, I found God again (it's funny that God never leaves us but we can always say we found him when he wasn't lost in the first place). Very recently I have had the pleasure to meet 2 women (that I didn't know would be apart of my life in a very religious way). I work at a school and two of the parents and I meet every Friday for bible study. We have even started a bible study for our children. We have 12 kids between the 3 of us and also children from the neighborhood attend. There are times that I am at work that I can hear a verse that came from bible study that would help me throughout the week. What I am getting to is this---I had to ask God for forgiveness for something that I did and I was brought to Colossians 3:12-13. Don't let grievances come between you and another as God has forgiven you. Believe it or not, I did apologize but the other party hasn't forgiven me and it hurts that they won't but---I still have to live for God. If anyone out there can help me with this dilemma, I'd appreciate it. I guess this isn't really a testimony but a letting it out. Thanks for letting me get out what was on my heart, Lord.
