I was raised by a mom who changed religions and her mind on Jesus all the time. I started doing Wicca in my early 20's, and by 30, I read the Left Behind Series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins and repented and became saved. I have since been following Jesus.

A couple of years ago, I was lost, I didn't know what direction to turn in, things were spiraling downward in my life and my family - my husband got hurt on his job and was unable to work. We quickly went thru our saving and hit rock bottom, I felt there was no where to turn. Then I met a new friend, Julie, her kids played pokemon and she went to Fellowship of the Woodlands, she invited us to go and then one Sunday, last spring we attended. The kids and I were mesmerized, it was awesome, from that day forward, things started to turn around! Just little things at first, and then the kids really WANTED to go to church and so did I, we really looked forward to it. It was a place that welcomed us with open arms, no questions asked, no one coming to your door to save you.
I grew up basically being forced to go to Catholic church and just did not enjoy it nor did my kids..so I am so happy that Julie and Fellowship came into our lives, it was a blessing and almost a miracle. My husband does not go with us, but we are working on him! Things are better with our finances and I pray daily and give praise to God who has changed my life around. I am not perfect, but I try to work on it everyday! I am lot more comfortable talking to my friends about God now and encourge everyone to find their way to HIM...
My girls and I were baptized "again" on Mothers Day 2008 and we have not been the same since!

I became a born again Christian in 1963 when John F. Kennedy was assassinated. My desire is to grow in Grace and Knowledge of the Lord. I love the Lord with my whole heart and wish to see many souls won to the salvation that He has so freely given us. He has made me a new creature and I live to bring glory to His name. He is my Rock during these troubled times. He NEVER changes which is a comforting thought with the times we live in. Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say,rejoice". That's what I try to do every day that I live.

I was a church goer for years then I back sled and wasn't for about 10 years then one year my friend invited me to one of his men's retreats for a week and I got born again and have been ever since.I have been involved in our church,as well as my wife.Want to know more about the Lord.

I want to Thank God for his son Jesus Christ for setting me free from one of the most hated sin on earth. For God said that he will forgive all sins and put them in the sea of forget fullness and remember them no more. I've been preaching his word for over 20 years now and still going on strong. I have the baptism of the Holy Ghost of speaking in tongues according to the book of Acts. I am not perfect but Jesus straightens me out when I mess up. God gave me a miracle in 1984 getting rid of cancer that almost took my life. I still praise him to this day for it. My favorite scripture is in Mark 11:22 what Jesus said " HAVE FAITH IN GOD ". That is where I put my trust.

I became a quilter in 1994, over the years I have made quilted wallhangings for quite a few people. Last fall I was contacted by a very good nurse friend of mine, who is a Christian and has made Jesus her Lord and saviour as I have. She asked me to make a farm scene wallhanging that she could hang in her kitchen. She requested a few things like a big red barn a windmill, some sheep in the field and a big white farm house, after I finised all those things plus I added a few more things, like a stream and some trees and flowers I had a pretty big area that still needed something, I thought for a few days and decided a good Bible verse would finish it off quite nicely, I know quite a few Bible verse but none that quite fit what I had in mind, So a few nights later I sat down on my couch with Bible in hand. I said Jesus you know the Bible better than me, please help me find the right verse to finish off the wallhanging. I held the Bible closed on my lap, and opened it when I looked down I was amazed, Jesus had chosen Zechariah 10-1 ask the Lord for rain in the spring, and he will give it, It is the Lord who makes storm clouds that drop showers of rain so the every field becomes a lush pasture. My friend was truly amazed when I told her how I got the verse. Thank you Jesus.

GOD is a great GOD, HE will use anyone and anything to bring the lost to HIM. In 1978 I was a young father of two beautiful little girls at that time. They were attending Sunday school every Sunday via a old school bus. Well you know the LORD gave them a invitation to give to me, so them two little girls ask dad and mom to come ride the bus and go to church with them. I'll tell you after that invitation the LORD GOD was working on my heart with the hands of a MASTER to prepare the soil to receive the seeds of faith. The paster of the church came to the house one Saturday afternoon and I was ready pray the prayer to ask JESUS to come into my heart and forgive me and cleanse me. From that moment I knew that by grace through faith I am saved to spend eternity in heaven with GOD the FATHER and JESUS CHRIST the SON glory to GOD.
A sinner saved by grace through faith.

I was at a point in my life in the year 2007 where I had nothing left to do but cry out and ask what it was I was doing even alive. I did not know the Lord back then and He brought me to a church event in Monticello, MN where I received an invitation to attend Bridgeview Assembly of God in Monticello/Big Lake. I went to service there and within a couple of services I gave my life to the Lord and quit my old ways. I was baptized and dedicated my children to the Lord at our church home. I have since done what I can to fulfill my calling by learning as much of the Word as I can and am currently serving as usher in my local church home and am 2 weeks away from starting my own home study group. There is so much more to tell, but for the sake of lengthy writing this is a nice basic account of my story.

First off let me start by saying in 2004 I had a dream, which at first did nothing for me. Then in 2008, I realized God gave me that dream for a reason.
Here is my dream: I was driving in my car going over a bridge. The bridge looked different, it had a sharp curve in it. I was trying to pass a white truck to get into my right lane. So I sped up so I was able to pass him. I remember checking my speed, I was going 65MPH. Then my car hit the bridge and I flew out of my car. I hit the water really ard and remembered the water being really dirty and choppy. I felt like I was being pulled by something on the water and I was bouncing around really hard, kind of like a fish out of the water. I was trying to look ahead of me but it was hard because of all the bouncing. After what seemed to be forever on the water, I saw a door. There were no stairs or anything near it. I remember thinking to myself, "how weird, its just a plain door." As I got closer, I saw a sign on the door that said "heaven." I went to knock on the door but no one answered. I tried turning the knob, but it wouldn't open. Then I woke up. After I woke up, I checked on my son and my husband, had a cigarette and fell back asleep.
Then, I had almost the same exact dream. I was going over the same bridge, and trying to pass the same white truck. I was going 45MPH this time. I was thinking in my dream that I was just on this bridge and knew I had to slow down to avoid crashing. My car still hit the bridge though, and I flew out of the car again. I hit the water real softly, and the water was real clear and calm. I remember being really confused, thinking to myself, what is going on. I again was being pulled on the water, but in a very calm way. I remembered there was going to be a door ahead. A little after being on the water, I saw the door. The door was different, there were stairs, and it almost looked like the door was glowing. The word heaven was still on the door, but this time it was in a frame. When I went to knock on the door, I remembered the last time it didn't open. But when I went to turn the knob, the door opened by itself. I walked in and there were people standing around. They looked like regular people but I didn't know any of them. In front of me, there were two door and a hallway to the right. The first door had a light on, I was able to see the glow under the door. The name Jesus was on the door. I went to open it, but it wouldn't open, so I tried the 2nd one, but that one didn't open either. I remember thinking this is really stupid, "why would the big door open this time, but now these doors wont?" I walked down the hallway, which seemed really long. There were two men at the end of the hall. One man looked really old and dirty. He was wearing a brown robe, had a long beard and a cane. I asked him, "What am I doing here, and why wont' the door to Jesus open?" He said to me that I couldn't see Jesus because I wasn't wearing the robe. I asked him where it was and how do i get one. He led me to the room that was next to Jesus. When I walked in, there was a white robe hanging there with a hood. Once I was done changing, I went to the room that Jesus was in, and it opened. I saw Jesus laying there with his eyes closed. I remember thinking how beautiful he looked. He looked very clean and pure. He was wearing a white dress. I walked toward him and his eyes opened. He said hello to me, by name. He asked me if I beleived in Heaven and in angels. I said, "yeah i do" He then asked me to tell him what an angel was. I said it was a person who wears a halo and has wings. I remember him looking mad at me. He asked me again to tell him what an angel was. I said the same thing, they looked the ones you see in coloring books. His voice then got real deep, almost loud, and he asked me again. I remember I was stuttering out loud, thinking really hard about what an angel was. I knew this time I better give him the right answer. But as soon as I started to say something I woke up.
It wasnt until 2008 that I found out why God gave me this dream. With my son no longer living me, I was very depressed, and ended up having severe anxiety attacks. I ended up spending alot of time in my car, by myself. Then one day I decided to bring my bible along with me. I started reading the book of John. As I was reading, there would be little hints that would remind me of my dream. Something that Jesus said in the book that was very relatable to me. Since then I finished reading almost the entire bible. Everytime I open it up, I know God is in there waiting for me. I realize now, that I cant change yesterday, I can't control tomorrow, but I can live today. Each day is a new one, every step is a chance, but i have Jesus next to me therefore I have no fear. Not many people will have a dream like mine, but you can still experience life at its best. Whether you are religous or not, I want you to know one thing. You did come from somewhere. The next time your in your car, ask yourself who made the first tree, the first animal, the first ocean, who was the first to walk on the earth? If your a parent, ask yourself how it is possible to have another human being live inside you. All the time in my car, these are the questions I asked myself. Once you figure out the answer, you will look at life with new eyes and appreciate it.
There are three great things that I have done in my life. The first one is I gave to birth to a wonderful son, second I married a great man, and thirdly, I gave my heart to Jesus.
