I was raised going to church, my mom and her relatives were Jewish. Her sister, Aunt Esther, is a Messianic Jew.
I grew up going to my Jewish relatives house in Brooklyn, so I knew the "Jewishness" of Christ and the "Chrstianity" of Christ.I ignored both.
I started getting high at 14, and continued the next 22 years. Got married, had kids, but life went on.
My mom died in 1984 of brain cancer, and I was so mad at God, I couldn't see straight. She was an awesome person, and I felt she didn't deserve that.
In 1993, I was sweeping the floor, and I heard a voice tell me it was time to find a church. I actually looked around, cause I coulda swore it was audible.
I looked through the phone book, because growing up in NY, I had visited every kind of church there is, and knew what they all believed.
When I got to "non-denominational", I had a flash back to the cross, sin, and salvation. (My aunt's influence).
God led me to the one I still go to 16 years later.
I went to church for 6 weeks, morning and evening service, before I fell to my knees in surrender.
9 months later, through alot of drama, my husband came to the Lord.
He has brought us through no jobs, no money, almost a divorce, and teen troubles.
He IS good!!!!

I was saved by the grace of God in April 1993

Minister Brady L. Hill Sr. is an anointed force to be reckoned with. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, he was introduced to the Lord at a very young age. Although God had a plan for his life, he fell to drugs and alcohol. After over 20 years of active addiction, jails and institutions, Brady got up and found his way back home to Christ. This gives credibility to Proverbs 22:6 – Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. He now enjoys life with his beautiful wife Virginia, of 16years and his four children: Brandy-16, Brady Jr.-15, Bradley-13 and Brana.. (Bra-nay)-12. He is currently a Licensed Minister in the Church of God in Christ. Look at God! He is a graduate of Point Park University, earning his B.S. in Business Management, with future plans to obtain his Masters of Divinity in Ministry. Minister Brady had served as the drummer for the Pittsburgh based gospel group Worship and the Instruments of Praise, under the direction of Patrick Polk and Charles Rowe, for seven years. In this position, he traveled to a number of different cities and as far as Shanghai, China to minister the gospel in music. After answering God’s calling to individual ministry, Min. Brady wanted to be used as a tool for the young and the young at heart in a way that they can exclusively understand that Jesus is real – and He is not limited to a certain genre of music! Since then Minister Brady has gone on to minister throughout the tri-state and surrounding areas (VA, CT, NV, OH, NC, TX and FL to name a few) preaching, teaching and ministering the Word of God through the tool of Hip Hop. After listening and studying other Hip Hop artists, gospel and secular, he chose the name “Real Deal” Brady Hill. He feels that if it doesn’t promote Jesus Christ, it’s not the real deal. Don’t let his rap ministry fool you though. “Real Deal” is very thorough in his knowledge of the Word of God. He is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost and “outside of that,” he says, “I really don’t need a title!” “I already operate under the Great Commission and that’s the greatest title ever!” Currently the Youth Director at the Whole Truth Ministry COGIC and a member at Mount Ararat Baptist Church, “Real Deal’s” style of Gospel Hip Hop is unique in that it stems from the Word of God. His primary focus is on music, in particular the lyrics, that the enemy is currently using to destroy the listener and the world considers acceptable right now, by taking them and putting a Holy twist on it. It is refreshing because you can actually hear what the brother is saying. He even incorporates hymns that our Mothers and Elders, which are his main supporters, have built their musical foundation on so all age groups can participate in this God given ministry. His goal is to plant the seed, another will water it and then God will give the increase.

I was taught about Jesus as a child, but never really knew Him or accepted Him as my Savior until I had my own children and began to understand the kind of love that He has for each of us. I have been Born Again since October of 1983, I still have a long walk in this journey of life, but each day He shows me how over and over again His unfailing, infinite, unconditional love.

Over that last year I had an especially hard time but, God actually gave me visual proof that he exists. He actually spoke to me. And he showed me the great battle between him and the enemy. We must never give up and we must obey scripture. Jesus is truly the way the truth and the life. We must do all we can to help others realize how much God loves us and wants us to be with him by his side.

I was saved at 19 years of age and I am now 67. The Lord found me because I wasn't looking for Him at the time. I was unable to continue on the same path I was traveling after the Spirit of God came upon me.
I raised 3 boys, one of whom is Pastoring a church in Medford, OR.
I have done everything there is to do in a church except Pastor. I minister in the Pastor's absence; however, my real calling is to teach and teaching children is the most rewarding. The Bible tells us that we must come as little children if we are to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

I had been a non believer until Sept. 2000. At the time I was 42 years old, married, with 2 wonderful children. I had been a drug user from the age of 12 and was growing tired of it. It was ruining my life and my families life.
I am a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and was fortunate enough to get two tickets to see them in Green Bay. My wife (who is a Christian) arranged for my daughter and I to spend the night with some members of the Green Bay church of Christ the night before the game. The family we stayed with just happened to be the preacher for this congregation.
Jonathan and I stayed up all night before the game, discussing my life and his life as they were scarily the same before he became a Christian. He explained the facts of the Bible to me that night and left me with a question the next morning before we left for the game. "What is keeping you from being baptized and becoming a Christian?" I couldn't answer him.
That day, after the game,on the drive home to Iowa I decided I knew what I needed to do. I called the preacher for our congregation and arranged to be baptized when he arrived back in town. That night my life changed forever and hopefully my life will be able to encourage others that Jesus Christ is the one and only way that we are going to arrive and be welcomed in Heaven.
One last thing I must say and if you study your Bible you will know it's true. Baptism is required to be saved. Even the devil believe in Christ and trembles.

On January 15, 2006, I walked into Temple Baptist Church here in Tacoma. Over the next 90 minutes, God changed me. Actually, it only took about 2 minutes, but I stayed for the whole service.
I had been a drug addict for 37 years and, at 50, was pretty sure I would die that way. On that day, God reached into Hell, pulled me out and told the devil, "This one belongs to me." I will be forever grateful. I had been using pot for 37 years, cocaine for 20 and meth for 10. I had tried to quit meth several times and couldn't. On that day, God kicked over the rock I was hiding under and hit me with the Light of Christ. It was so bright, there were no more shadows or darkness to run to.
When I walked in, a woman gave me a prayer card (I call it a pain card) to write down anything I might want the pastor to talk to me about or pray for me. I wrote all my self-pity, all my despair and all my hopelessness down, front, back and around the edges. I started with, "No one loves me."
It had been 38 years since I had been in a church and I had forgotten about the singing and greeting, so when it started, I put the card in my pocket. With tears running down my face, I shook hands with people I didn't know (at the time). By the time we finished singing, I had pulled myself together.
Then this man I didn't know (whom I now know as Pastor Mike Roberts) got up and began to speak and the most wonderful thing happened. The pastor was talking about Galations and the fruit of the Spirit, but all I heard was God saying, "Ken, I love you." I started to cry again. He said, "I have been chasing you for a long time trying to give you something you need to live (and HE was not talking about living on this earth.)" "Will you take it now?" I said yes and HE took all my self-pity, hopelessness and despair and gave me the Holy Spirit.
I did not walk out pumping my fists in the air and claiming my salvation. This wasn't a tent revival,(actually, it took a couple of days for me to understand), but I knew I had been changed. I walked out not craving my drugs and on the couple of occasions I smoked pot again, I couldn't stand the separation from the Spirit. It has now been 3 years.
I could go on, but why. You all know God's blessings. One of them is shown above in the picture with me. God started 2006 with my salvation and ended it with my marriage to a woman of God with whom to share my love of God.
Oh yeah, on that first day, when I put that card in my pocket, over the next 60 minutes, God dealt with every issue I and written down.

I was always brought up as a Christian. And i am only 14 now. I was going down the wrong path in life, hanging out with the wrong people and making wrong choices. I went to a public school, so i was surrounded my secular people everyday. My mom finally took charge and put me in a Christian school. It was the besst thing that has ever happened to me. Since then i have been so interested in Christ, and I have been working on my relaltionship with him. He loves me soo much, and i finally relized it.
He is my everything, and I will never ever do give him up. I will now follow him through life until the end.
